Usman Khawaja’s meteoric rise up the Australian sporting ladder belies his grounded, and humble approach to life itself.
Born in Pakistan before moving to Sydney, Australia, Khawaja’s passion for sports was evident from an early age.
Whilst golf was always a keen hobby and Tiger Woods his idol, one could easily discern the natural talent he possessed for the game of cricket ensuring a long, and prosperous career in the sport.
Khawaja first represented Australia at the age of 24 and has since gone on to represent his nation on more than 70 occasions, including being a winning member of the 2017-18 Ashes Series.
When not traversing the globe chasing further cricketing success, Khawaja can typically be found on the golf course working on his single-figure handicap.
