LPGA Tour Player
The Sutherland Shire region in Sydney’s southern suburbs has produced a multitude of sporting stars, one of those being LPGA Tour player, Sarah Kemp.
As a junior, Kemp honed her skills at Beverley Park Golf Club and completed her studies at Endeavour Sports High School. Now, Kemp proudly calls Cronulla home when back in Australia.
Turning professional in 2008, Kemp qualified for the LPGA Tour in the United States at her first attempt – an achievement which is not only superb, but also rare. 11 years later and boasting multiple Top 10 finishes, she continues to ply her trade on the most lucrative circuit in the women’s professional game.
But Kemp’s golf career hasn’t been limited to the United States. In fact, Kemp has produced a remarkably consistent career on the Ladies European Tour with 28 Top 10 finishes and a career best 5th place finish on the 2018 LET Order of Merit.
At home, Kemp achieved a career goal by winning the 2019 ALPG Order of Merit title following a string of consistent finishes, which included a 2nd place finish at the LPGA co-sanctioned Victoria Open in February. With 12 ALPG victories to her name, Kemp has established herself as one of the most formidable players in Australian women’s golf.
Having been a product of the Jack Newton Junior Golf Foundation, Kemp is acutely aware of the vital role this played in her chosen profession and is extremely proud to be serving as an ambassador for the Junior 6s Tour.
